New Research Brings Hope to Millions of HIV-Infected So. Africans
New finding by Israeli researchers has offered hope for millions of South Africans living with and dying from HIV and AIDS.
The journal AIDS Research and Therapy reported that the researchers have been able to discover a way of killing off cells infected with HIV, offering new hope for a cure for the disease:

In basic terms, the technique involved getting the virus to “overload” the host cell with viral DNA, this would make the cell self-destruct and ultimately, kill off the virus.
