New Device Helps Families Track Loved Ones With Alzheimer’s, Dementia

LOS ANGELES — Dementia and Alzheimers are affecting more and more families.
And for caregivers, watching over and keeping track of a loved one who might not have a good memory is a daunting task.
Sixty percent of Alzheimers patients will wander.
Worrying if they will wander offand what to do if they dois cause for continual aggravation and concern.
That is, until now.
A new program in Long Beach is helping to save lives. And developers of this new tracking device had their first rescue this week. Or go to their Web site:
